Boarding adds a special dimension to Academy Private School education and is a thoroughly modern solution to 21st century family life.

Each of the school’s boarding houses accommodate between 8 and 16 students. This naturally creates a genuine, family environment where boarders support each other, and enjoy and share in each other’s successes.  The Houseparents and their teams ensure that the boarders are safe, happy, settled and cared for 24 hours a day.

Students are accommodated in comfortable bedrooms in Hillside House and Acacia House.  Each student has a personal pin-board so they can bring along photographs and posters which they can put up to quickly make their room feel like home.  Boarders’ meals are catered for by appointed cooks on the premises.  Balanced, healthy meals are served. The building also houses the resident boarding house parent/s.  An organised programme for homework and recreation is supervised by Hillside House Boarding staff.

A shuttle service is also available to boarders and is booked at an additional fee.
