Academy Private School

Admission Policy

Academy Private School follows common admissions policies, and is in accord with the Constitution of South Africa, the South African Schools Act, and other relevant legislation. Academy Private School is a non-denominational school.

Parents complete the admission forms on behalf of their child. On joining the school, parents are required to sign a contract with the school that includes all expectations, the school’s rules and disciplinary code. Academy Private School’s intention is to offer a standard of education that is at least equal to that offered by other leading recognised private schools, but unsurpassed in its innovation, quality of teachers, and the learning environment.

All students will be interviewed as part of the admissions process. The institution is non-discriminating in its admission’s policy.

All applicant students are required to spend a day in the relevant grade class as part of the application process.

Where vacancies occur in higher grades places are allocated on the basis of the student’s latest school report and an interview with the principal. Where classes are full, parents may wish to place their child’s name on our waiting list. A nominal administration fee is charged for this facility.

Enrolment Procedure

Please complete an Enrolment Application Form and submit together with the application fee of R300 and the required documents to the school office via email or during office hours.

Once received, we will then contact you to arrange an interview with our school Principal.

Please contact us should you have any further enquiries.
